We are one of the leading importers and distributors of fruits, vegetables and flowers in the Nordic region. We import from around seventy different countries.
Organisation and owner:
Dole Food Company Inc is the owner.
The group consists of three subsidiaries:
- Saba Frukt & Grönt and Blommor (Fruit and Vegetables and Flowers)
- Banan-Kompaniet (Bananas)
- Dole Fresh Cuts (Precut lettuce)
Saba Frukt & Grönt and Blommor
Saba Frukt & Grönt imports and distributes fruit, vegetables, potatoes, bananas, bananas and pre-cut lettuce. In the assortment are products from growers and cooperative growers active in both Sweden and around seventy other countries. Type and origin vary according to the different season, however, usually there are around 700 articles in the assortment. The products are delivered to shops, markets and wholesalers throughout Sweden. Working together with our suppliers and customers, we can offer solutions for all needs and demands.
The flower division, Saba Blommor, is responsible for purchasing and sales throughout Sweden of potted plants and cutting flowers. The company has two sales units. We select our suppliers and planters with the utmost care. Our staff has concern for the environment very much at their hearts, and all our products are marked with EAN-codes to ensure product traceability and guarantee high quality.
Banan-Kompaniet
Banan-Kompaniet is responsible for import, ripening, sales and distribution of bananas. It works mostly with Dole brand bananas, but also with KRAV-marked and other well-known brands such as Bajella and Onkel Tuca. Today, Banan-Kompaniet has two ripening facilities. The bananas are distributed both through Saba Frukt & Grönt and other wholesalers throughout Sweden.
Dole Fresh Cuts
Dole Fresh Cuts produces Dole precut lettuce. The products are distributed to the Swedish, Danish, Finnish, German and Baltic markets. The production facility in Helsingborg is one of Europe’s most modern, and corresponds to today’s high demands of technology, quality, hygiene and food safety.
